What do you guys use to lubricate/grease the bolt in a bolt action rifle?

Outside I use a tiny bit of rifle oil.
Not too much, because all the crap will stick on the bold and ride inside the rifle.

I used to put lithium grease, but that just made a big mess in the long run.

Lithium grease works if you completely break down your rifle, clean and relube a few times a year. Less often and it starts to gum up and dry out.

A light coat of super lube or permatex ultra slick multi purpose synthetic grease work just right.

Dry PTFE spray or graphite spray.

Can always go get artist drawing graphite block and rub it all over the bolt, will work too without holding sand and grit to the cylinder.

Bacon lube is way better

But seriously,if you don't mind cleaning you're bolt every two games or so I find that Permatec dialectric grease does a good job

moly base dry lube or graphite lube works very well.
I use loctite synthetic grease

The stock VSR-10 cylinder bushings are plastic, you could just run it dry/
Actually I should probably get around to making teflon cylinder bushings for my rifle, the stock ones are pretty loose...
