Try send Arnold (forget his name here, is that plus a couple numbers) a message, I think he added RS parts to his 249 a few years ago, plus you could also google it and see what others have done.

Google's not very helpful in this situation (WAY too much garbage) the same goes with finding real steel parts.

JB weld is holding up real well . Used the steel and hardener tubes. A bit messy looking but I'll sand off a bit and will spray paint it for sure. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Yes, that is the idea with two part epoxy compounds like JBWeld . You can't use one without the other for any reasonable results.
