There are many sniper platforms that use a monopod on the rear stock to aid in raising and supporting the rear of the gun for greater stability rather than having to rely on the steadiness of your shoulder/arm/hand to support it. First I've seen a bipod in use, but I suppose it would serve the same purpose.

The M93 stock has a rail on the bottom too. Has one on the top and holes on the side to attach two more rails. I doubt you would ever see a sniper on a battle field using a setup like that.
Heres are some pictures of the M93B. Everyone that has a M93A can mail it in to magpul with 75US to upgrade to the B. Notice that the buffer tube is now the same colour as the stock. Aluminum reinforced plates that you can attach a QD sling swivel onto. Also noticed that they removed the top rail. You can see it on the tail end of the stock. Great for busting in windows or knockin heads.
