gear used in 'outpost' help

after watching the nazi zombie ghost movie outpost i figuerd out what kind of gear i would like to get. iam not too sure but i think its a tac belt with pouches, this would be a pretty cheap and nice but iam afriad that it would maybe slip off some how( i could get suspenders if that werre to be the case). i was wondering what you guys think it is, i,l post a couple links to some pictures of the carachter, his name is taktarov for those who already saw the movie.

i think its an east german ak magazine pouch in some sort of belt. You could go with an ALICE belt if you dont really want to go in depth with this impression(cheaper and found everywhere) instead of a soviet belt. I think thats all he had in that movie. Are there any other still photos?

thanks for your help, i really apreciate it. if you werre going for a nice starting kit would you take something similiar like a belt and some mag pouches? or would you go for a molle vest or something else.

thanks for your help again.

It is totally whatever feels most comfortable for you man. Belt kits are not necessarily a bad thing. You just need enough pouches that can carry whatever you need and that isnt too cumbersome and uncomfortable. I've tried molle plate carriers and belt kits and chest rigs, they all serve a purpose but I would have to say that a chest rig for me, is a comfortable set up. Belt kits are awesome if you just want to go lite. You have to try it out to see what is comfortable for you.

alright thanks man i really apreaciate it. it would be cool if there was a store werre they'd let you try on different rigs and make a little course just so you could get the feel of the rig. well thanks again and i think latter on i might go with the actually impression.

thanks again, cheers
