In order to be approved for paintball, any goggle system has to meet or exceed ASTM standards for paintball goggles.
If you want to spend $70 on a pair of goggles, look at the V-Force Profilers.. they're in the same price range, available in Canada, ASTM approved AND one of the more popular paintball goggles in the last 10 years.

You probably want to avoid ordering from there if you have a choice (there's plenty of horror stories if you dig around the forum). Also find out what the rules are at local fields: if you're playing on paintball fields you may require actual paintball goggles, however on private fields you may be able to use much superior tactical goggles.

thanks matt and drake for the quick reply...actually, this was a spare goggles given to me by my brod-in-law when we visited them in california...and since i'm thinking of going back to playing airsoft again after moving here in BC 2 years ago and not having a proper paintball mask ( we often use safety glasses in the UK ), i wonder if i can use it...
thank you again and more power... |
