Reassembled my gun and now it doesn't shoot...
Ok, I reassembled my Echo 1 MP5, but when I pull the trigger it's like the gun is on safe. It doesn't make any noise, and the trigger doesn't go back. I'm thinking the wiring got tangled up or something or maybe the correct side of the selector switch is not on the selector plate side? Thanks

If you didn't know what you were doing it could literally be anything.
Take it to someone who knows what they're doing. |

Why were you tinkering with it in the first place?
Might want to look online for full take-down videos of that gun and reassemble from scratch. If you got the cash and don't care about knowing how your gun works, might as well take it to an expert; but it's really the least fun solution. Fox. |

A so called expert charged me $50 and my gun shoots 50 fps less, so I'm going to do it myself, which I've done in the past(correctly) It was a spring/guide upgrade. I just want to know possible ways to fix it myself. What would be wrong with the selector plate? I have the lower receiver off and the selector plate moves fine

maybe when the gun was reassembled, the gearbox and lower body didnt fit properly, causing the selector to not engage....

The wiring to the motor is good. I'm going to try and hook up all the parts needed to test fire it before I reassemble it.
