CF Badge for beret... Help?
Hehe, hey guys.
So, my problem today is I was issued my kit for BMQ (I got sworn into the Reserves recently) and am wondering about getting the badge onto the beret. There is an arrow like pattern on the beret where the badge goes - do I slit this somewheres to get the tab on the badge in? Help would be nice from you service/past service members. Thanks, Nicholas

you need to use a knife and make a small incision to where the 2 parallel inside lines end which is almost in the middle. Then you insert your cornflake (if you have one which im pretty sure you only get after a certain point in your training... after they teach you to salute i think. Atleast that what I remember from when I wore the cornflake) to your beret and tada! You are set!
P.s. please dont make me draw lol... im just referencing from my beret.

oniwagamru - Reservists are issued the cornflake with their initial kit issue and wear the capbadge from there after - what I've seen anyways, unless some brigades have different rules then others ref the capbadge. It's not like the Reg Force where you only receive the tri service capbadge at somepoint during BMQ.
