ACOG with Docter Sight

Hey Guys,

I was wondering, which company makes the best reproduction of an ACOG with the Docter sight (KA, G&P, or other?). As i would like to be able to use both sights effectively in my G36K (I have a low rail so zeroing shouldnt be as bad as if it was a regular rail i think).

Thanks in advance guys.

They all suck about the same amount.

AABB has one coming out in May that is pretty promising, I'de hold out for it if you can. ( Start saving money now cause they won't be cheap. )

When you say won't be cheap, what price range are you talking about? Because if its over 200 it is probably better to get a different RS sight.

Although that scope does look amazing and from there other prices it looks like it could be reasonable .

Hard to say,

I'de guess there will be alot of similarities between it and their Spectre replica., including price. ( $200-250 range )

No, it's gonna be much cheaper than the SpecterDR as there's no adjustable magnification mechanism (which is the complicated and expensive thing to do). It's probably gonna be a bit more expensive that the other sold on EBairsoft, so I'd say around 150-160 most likely.

It's got a working fiber optic illuminated cross-hair.

Sounded complicated and expensive to me so I just assumed...

The Reflex replica has fiber-optics. Keep in mind that it isn't magnified but it was about 80 bucks. I can see the ACOG being under 200

not the reflex sight... the acog.

You know, fiber optic illumination like a real trijicon has; illuminated crosshair without the use of batteries.

... well, if it has Tritium in it or not is as of yet unknown; I kinda hope so, and not at the same time.

Don't fool yourself though, this thing is gonna be expensive.

airsoft replicas will not have tritium in them thats a fact. the crosshair difference between an RS and a replica can be seen already. RS ones go pretty expensive. at least 1200 -1700 depending on what reticle you want.

the Fibre optic on replicas are just for show they do not control the brightness level and contrast.......that only works on real ones...

The optic from AABB that Fox is speaking of, does indeed have working FO illumination.

You know something we don't?

Huang was talking about a "Shanzhai" ACOG 2 years ago that was going to use FO illumination but the Factory had issues importing tritium into China.

I see 2 possible options:

1, they figured out an alternate most likely cheaper method of achieving a similar result to FO/Tritium illumination.

2, They are using very small amounts of it so they don't have to import very much to make a lot of scopes.

Bribes can be very convincing in that part of the world.

Who knows, we prolly won't have any clear answers till someone buys one; perhaps it has no night illumination at all.
