I've got a TM P226 that when I last ran it over the chrony shoots 395fps. What's so odd about that?

I guess I stand corrected. My apologies. I also didn't realize that it was a NBB pistol (the luger).

Didn't think you could take a GBB up to those levels.

Right, so back in the forums with my face buried in the sand as I read more and post less.

Cheers,
FACE

Actions? yeah Phone the police , people shooting airsoft guns in a public space is a public safety matter and so a POLICE matter.

A brief conversation with the Police and these yahoos will sort them out.
First of all, I didn't call myself an airsoft cop, I'm just concern about the future of airsoft. if we're don't monitor new guys coming into airsoft and keep idiots like these guys from creating trouble then it can damage the image of airsoft (not that it's been getting a good rep already). And I am taking the Mentor approach and will try to get them to play in a legit field, maybe go with me all the way out to the field and keep them from going astray.

For those who don't know they play Coquitlam, a city that's about an hour away from Vancouver, so it is within Canada. I didn't take a look at the pictures so I didn't notice that Luger shot about 400fps...

You can not fix those type of guys, they are no more than 30 minutes from Panther paintball and a whole hour and bit from Bigfoot games. My bet is they just can't be bothered to go to an organized field.

If you are close see if you can get them out to a regular game, but given there are a whole 3 of them you may not have much luck.

Do you have any idea how many little groups of kids playing backyard or back 40 wars there are?

Thousands.. We can't police them, and their actions have no bearing on this community. Kids have been doing stupid things with airsoft guns for 20 years... and we are still here and going strong.

I'm not saying that some attempt to bring them into the fold should not be attempted, I'm just saying that for every one you do.. another hundred take up the clearsoft.

I know the area and we played there a few times while the RCMP were notified beforehand. The most dangerous part about that field is that you can get lost very easily (we lost a young kid there for a good 30 minutes even while radios were a must). It's HUGE and I don't think we (as a sanctioned airsoft group) would play there for awhile. The only people we ran into were some guys 4x4'ing and paintballers. I've seen some guys playing in the forest behind golf courses before... there's not a lot you can do about it but make sure YOU play safe.

coincidently that's what I'm trying to do dirtbag, and I'm a regular at Bigfoot too, so I'm trying to convince them to go out there.

I do understand that, and this is my first time coming up upon this so I was asking to see if we should do anything about it. But here's another thing, they're not playing with clearsoft, but airsoft. Either way, I doubt you even care so end of discussion for me, thanks for the comments.
