310 fps is just fine for outdoors
If your AK is even compatible with marui parts, just buy an 8$ guarder clear hopup rubber, start using .25g BBs and you'll double your range and accuracy. But that's the only real upgrade you should do to that AK, unless you have a metal gearbox i HIGHLY recommend not upgrading anything in the mechbox. |

first of all what make is your ak, if your gearbox is a plastic gearbox, made by a cheap clearsoft manufacurer i dont think it would be worth upgrading. 310 fps is fine for outdoor games also, all the high end AEGs right now and even majority of cheap aegs are based off the marui design, everything should be marui compatible unless you have some cheap crappy gun made from some unknown manufacturer.
but however i think springs should fit? not sure, anyway m120 is about 320 to 350 fps right now, also having a longer inner barrel and other factors also affect FPS,

Hopefully it's not one of those Tippman AKs, had one of those in my house for a while, I swear it shot ok without any hop up, but you dial in a bit and the BBs start hitting the floor in front of you. Even using 0.12g! Lol

if your looking for 320 to 350 go with an M90. 360-380= M100, 380-410 M110 these are the speeds of modify springs in stock guns. they go towards and sometimes exceed the high end in upgraded guns. madbull, systema, and other brands of springs have different rating systems but generally near the same. if you meant a 120% spring your closer to the mark. |

Probably not worth the effort to even put in a new spring. If the gearbox is plastic it will not be able to hold up to the tension used by a heavier spring.
Tech +1: Save up and get a decent AEG where you are age verified. The one you have now, if it is in working condition, will do you until that time comes. What you have now will probably last longer if you do not start taking it apart and replacing parts. The old saying goes, "If it's working... don't %^&# with it!" Hope this helps....

Don't forget this isn't a high quality gun
prometheus MS110 is 380 on a quality build, but can be as low as 320fps on a poor sealing gun |
