Hey guys, I recently bought a Javelin M24 for its price (240$ at local army surplus) and it looked like a great upgrading platform. I am extremely pleased with it so far. The are a few upgrades I plan on taking up, but most of them are n0-brainers (Cheap, rattling sling mounts
, scope, bipod, blah blah). I need help with the piston, spring guide+spring and how the rest of the gun will take it.
I know for sure that a harder spring puts more stress on the piston and spring guide, which is why I plan replacing the plastic ones with metal ones. I am just concerned as to whether the trigger box assembly will take the added weight and stress. I completely dismantled the trigger box and put it back together to find that it is indeed 100% metal though I'm unsure as to what kind of metal it is.
The m24 did not come with any form of documentation and I cant find anything online so I'm not sure what upgrades are compatible with my gun. If you had a javelin m24, what would you do with it? (Besides throw it out *to the hardcore enthusiasts*)
