A&K m249+collapsible stock

I've seen a few pictures of the a&k m249 with a crane stock on it, not that ugly ass mini 6 position stock. Does anyone know if it's the para or mk2 version that you need to get the stock adapter to fit? Or does it matter?

Better yet, is G&P the only option for the adapter?

Here's a PARA with a crane stock:

Through the m249's I've owned, there should be no difference on which model you have since the bodies are the same, just the feed trays are different and one has collapsible stock and one has a full stock. The problem I could see is that the Mk2 is rear wired as the Para is front wired, well not really a problem cause it's a 2 minute fix on the 249's.
