Anyone got any opinions on the quality of VFC versus SRC pro? They seem to be around the same price, and tbh, after going through the gear classifieds, if the gun classifieds are anything like those I'lll be buying new anyways.

Honestly, wait until you're AV'ed. I've not handled any SRC guns myself, so I can't speak to their quality (some people seem to like them quite a lot, others don't), but either way you will have so many more options in the AV sections. If you find nothing else that you like or something cheaper, by all means, the SRC is still available to you brand spankin' new.

One of the big bonuses about the classifieds is that most guns you buy there come with all sorts of goodies. Have you looked at the price for brand new mags? They are quite pricey if you want a few. Lots of guns come with plenty of them, though...

I like both but SRC has better internals than VFC. Get the full metal SRC's from 007airsoft those are awesome guns...

Gen III has M120 spring, Gen III Pro has M140 spring
Gen III has 6.05mm tightbore barrels, Gen III Pro has 6.03mm super tight bore barrels
Gen III has steel gear set, Gen III Pro has helical cut steel gear set
Gen III has regular motor pinion gear, Gen III Pro has CNC steel motor pinion gear.

For these 5 upgrades, you are only paying $50 more.

We are required to put in M140 springs into the full metal Gen III Pro's, otherwise they are prohibited for import (metal lower makes these replica firearms if shooting lower than 430fps).

For details of what internals the Gen III Pro's come with, please see the STANDARD FEATURE list on the top of this page here: http://www.007airsoft.com/products/h...16-gen3pro.htm

Thank you!

I have been doing research for about 6 days now on this gun, only to find minimal information on the net, only to click on links to ASC, but still nothing for spare upgrade parts. I just purchased one the other day and i should be getting it this week hopefully.

I got the full metal pro version and i had no idea of the difference, glad i got it tho, I guess listening to the guys works sometimes haha.

"Just wondering" what would be a good motor to keep on hand in case something happens to it and piston. Just hard to find any info on it and parts to get. more so, good parts to keep handy in case something brakes. If you have one or know anything about it, I'd appreciate the information. I don't live close to any parts guys, so it's better to have some surplus at home specially if im going to a game and something goes wrong.

Im having a hell of a time trying to figure out what LiPo will fit in this thing without using a peq box, i want 11.1v ...

Also to the other posts about the ICS guns. (ICS) is a good reliable gun. I have one fully re-done and works like a charm now.

This will be my back-up gun.

cheers,

Personally I say VFC hands down just for the super sexy externals. SRC GEN IIIs seem to have very nice internals on paper but I have no experience with them.
