Blowback Mod for G36?

Has anyone seen this?

YouTube - G36C Blowback airsoft mod

Seems interesting, but what are the short-term and long-term effects on the overall gun?

well drilling a hole into the gearbox frame doesnt seem like a great idea.
neither does a shoe string just tucked into the piston. shredding apart and littering the gearbox with debris

That mod would probably put a lot more stress on the gears and the piston since they have to pull back the entire cocking handle mechanism (which is sort of hefty). Perhaps that mod can also let you know whether the gearbox spring is compressed too? Pretty damn cool, but I can't see it being good for the gun's longevity.

in the notes he mentions that the rate of fire is lowered due to this mod, well I can see that happening

Why put extra stress on you're internals???. Even 90% of the factory AEG "blowbacks" put undo stress on the internals.. Marui's system is about the only one worth a damn anyways...
