Thats between you at the retailer.
Where did you buy your rifle? If you have a local airsoft storefront, they would probably be knowledgeable enough to help you diagnose you problem, and might be able to point you in the direction of a gun tech to help you get it running smoothly.

Your call. Airsoft is not a sport for those afraid to get their hands dirty with weapon repairs and maintenance (unless your the type who doesn't mind paying other people to do the work for you, then your golden!)

I'm sure you could find a gun-tech in or near red-deer. I'm not familiar with the geography of that part of Canada, so I can't really help you out there.

Found the thread I was looking for, check out this:
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=72809 If you scroll down to Alberta, you will see Darklen located in Red Deer Alberta. He even has a web-site! http://www.bentbarrelgundoctor.com/ His site says he will do wiring repairs for $15-$25 depending on what needs to be done.

No problem, good luck.
I hope one bad experience doesn't turn you off airsoft forever!

Just relax and take a deep breath.
The rifle is most likely fine. If the retailer will not replace it then someone will be able to repair it and it wont be very expensive. If you have a problem like that, your gun will be worth considerably less. Wiring problems can be pretty common and can also be a very easy fix, the fact that you have already identified the problem is great. Just keep trucking. I have had all sorts of problems with an AK i used to own and I paid a fortune for it. I eventually got rid of it because the damn thing was plagued with problems. You are always going to run into problems and you are going to have to overcome them, that is the way airsoft is, Good luck EDIT: when i say rifle i mean the mechbox, motor and such. I have had an experience like yours. Depending on how long it was left like that your motor could be toast but i dont think so

Anyways, before anyone bashes them apparently they're trying to turn their business around and turn over a new leaf. Anyways, buyairsoft said they can do it so good luck. If they can't then see if you can get Darklen to take a look at it. PS: It might also be a good idea to get a hold of RAAT just to get in on games and introduce yourself to the community.
