Anyone add threads to an outer barrel?
Picked myself up an A&K masada, but I hate how long the outer barrel is. (cqb barrel set is impossible to find)
I wouldn't mind shipping this out to someone who can chop it down and add some 14mm threads to it. I dont know anyone around here who can do it. |

RS SVD. Removed flash hider via hacksaw. Drilled and tapped outer barrel 1/2-20 NC. Fabricated 1/2-20 to 14mm CCW coupler for silencer. Worked out great. I'm going to drill and tap the chopped off flash hider so it can be put back on.

3 in stock here and in country here. If you wanna mod the current barrel, I'm sure you could get it threaded locally at a machine shop, It's not too difficult.

Whatever is written there, it WON'T work with the A&K Masada.
And I'm speaking out of knowledge; I had one, and I had the (A&K) short barrel kit.
