Often times you need a more powerful motor to move the stronger spring
More details are required, what type of gun, motor, gearbox ect.
Whatever you can provide

Im not really sure, the motor is the turbo 3000 or something like that and all other parts are original from ICS, the model is the CXP.08

I was going to upgrade a bunch of things like i was told, but i want the other spring.

this is the one i wanted to put in:

My question is why do you want your AEG to fire that fast?
Remember FPS does not equal range or accuracy, better barrels, SCS, consistent fps(good airseal) does.

You'd need a new everything, gearbox shell, motor, you'd have to scrap all of the internals, which AFAIK ICS does not have a reinfoced gearbox.

Good Luck anyhow.....

He said that he will make it as a project gun. Not for gaming. And harder spring won't give you a fast ROF.

As for the question, you will need a motor that could pull a spring like that. And gears as well. And don't forget the battery.

And always remember, paintball/airsoft fields here in canada has a FPS limit. If you want to bring it on the fields, always bring some tools and a softer spring.

If he want to game it,it's easy enough to have a second upper cyl. to switch out in a few min. BUT an ICS gear-box won't live long shooting @ 550fps. Try it and find out lol. Mines been going for the past 6 years shooting @ 398 fps on .20's(but I use .25's). ICS gear box does not like shooting too much above 400 fps.

Nice thanks everyone for all the info.. I might just keep it at around 400fps, to much trouble and, i dont really need more i guess. I was just wondering how things work with the airsoft, so now i know..

380 is the optimal FPS for using .28g BB's
If your using .25s, you might have better luck at 360 FPS.
If your firing certain weights of BB's too fast, they actually destabilize faster and you get less accuracy.
