Read Sword Type 56-2
So I searched these forums up and down out that most Magazines do not work for the Real Sword.
Somebody said that their MAG waffle magazines worked for their 56 but not their 56-1 That post was back in January 2010 I'm wondering if anybody found out any companies who's standard mags work in the real sword (70-100 rounds per magazine) I enjoy the realism of having to reload, of course if I had it my way I would have 45 rnd. magazines Has anybody figured out lo-cap mags that will fit? Thanks

I've had JG, MAG, and King Arms mags fit, all you gotta do is shave down the lip on the back side where it locks onto the mag release. Takes 1-2 mins with a knife.

G&P AK47 mags (150rds) and King Arms AK47 mags (140rds IIRC). I gently filed the edge of the magazine catch on my Type 56, just enough to remove the sharp edge that digs into the plastic bit that is on the back of the mags. They both work very well...

From the info in this thead, it seems the only thing keeping aftermarket mags from fitting is the mag catch. No issues with the mags feeding reliably?
