AEG does not stop firing????

I just replaced the gearbox in my AEG with a Matrix M4 compete drop in gearbox. as soon as i attach the battery the gun fires, i have checked all the firing modes and it does this even on safe??? im baffeled
can anyone tell me what i did wrong?

The circuit is complete, probably at the trigger contacts. You'll have to open up the mechbox to fix it.

Either as Styrak said, or it can be due to some wire grounding on the body, bypassing the switch.

As Styrak said...The spring that pulls the male part of the trigger connector of the switch assembly is probably not attached correctly. So the trigger connector is always in contact with the female part of the switch assembly therefore the circuit is complete and always firing, no matter what you do with the fire selector. Just attached the spring back and your problem will be solved.

If your mechbox is equipped with a cheap mosfet unit, it can also be the FET that is burnt. 90% of the time they will short out when smoked and will cause that problem.
