Noob to airsoft needing a little help
Im brand new to airsoft, moved from calafornia i owned a type 56 ak there (first airsoft gun I bought it used recomended to me by a friend there) but I was not sure if i could bring it across the border (didnt want border patrol to take it) so its with my grandparents there and i was wondering what the laws are on buying airsoft guns online is it manditory that they have to be clear to buy them online and get them shipped to canada. I could not find anything about this topic on this forum lots of people redirect to the Faq pages but couldnt find anything there either. I also apologize if this is the wrong place to post this I was unsure where to post my question. Thanks to the ones who help in advance.

My bad i guess i wasnt looking hard enough. But in this thread it says plain and simple no is that true so not even clear guns are allowed to be bought and shipped here. And also one more question what about sites like these http://www.surplusig.com/8/Home.html witch are here in canada can i buy from there?

So long as you're in Canada ordering from in Canada, getting airsoft guns are no problem. Trying to import from outside the country usually ends up with you losing your money, your purchase and potentially longer "interviews" when crossing the border.

Clear is OK sometimes but it really depends on who's at the guard shack (it's like flipping a coin but theres a bigger chance for you to lose and you'll lose your money and all that). While "black guns" are definitely a no no and will be confiscated.
Also if you're planning on staying in Canada for a while I highly recommend getting AV'ed. Where are you going exactly and for how long? ie. A 4 year degree or moving to become a permanent resident?
