I will consider doing that, but in the mean time anyone know what brand of hopup I should buy. I'm also thinking of uprgrading the barrel to a 6.01..any suggestions?

I would just get a 6.03, I have not noticed any difference between my MadBull 6.01 and 6.03, for A Hop-Up the PDI one is pretty good.

I have a Prometheus 6.03 in there now so I won't bother upping that. Which PDI hop up? The one for the PSS2? or is it marked M24?

I don't think there's a difference between the two, but if its marked for an M24 go with that one.

I recall when I got mine (from Dracheous), he bought the PDI M24 one (he had bought a beat up M24 with a bent barrel, took all the good parts out of it and bought an APS2 PSS2 left hand upper), found the M24 hop up didn't fit correctly, so bought the PSS2 one and sold me the M24 one.

As for difference, I really don't see anything noticable between the PDI and stock hop up unit, except the PDI has two levers (and two adjustment screws) where the stock one has only one. Allows one to tweak a bit left or right to center the BB's flight path.Really only comes into play if the inner barrel or hop up unit aren't installed perfectly inline with the top line (doable, the "mag assembly" tip helps in this way).

And yes, Prometheus 6.03 all the way.

The only hop up I could find was the PDI, I did however find some replacement springs and ballbearings for the cocking arm! Oh what the hell it's only money right!
