King Arms WA GBBR mag quick write up
New mags, bought 2 to try out.
First impression, they look like they are copy of WA Super, except the color is black not grey. The mags are well packed, looks good quality. They feel they weigh about the same if not a bit lighter than the WA. Base plate has King Arms trademark. Filling BB is the same as the normal WA/G&P mags, unlike Prowin they are easy to fill. On my WOC they have no trouble fitting, compare to GHK where the mag is too wide, or compare to ProWin where the fit is tight against the mag catch. Free insert, free drop. Shooting impression. Normal kick, no perceptable difference to G&P or WA or ProWin. This is unlike Bomber or GHK where the kick is noticeably weaker(in my experience). Did a quick 10 shot chrono. The average is probably about 355, low being 345 and high about 370 on 0.25s. To compare I shot a same amount of BBs with the ProWin. The average is higher with Prowin being closer to 365 and low being 360 and high being 370 with much more consistent spread. Indoor temp being 77 deg and the gun was the short barrel upper of my WOC(210mm 6.01 TBB), with the NPAS bolt. Reliability is unknown since I just got these. So far no leak and shoots good, which is already better than Bomber(leaks and weak power and kick), and the new G&P mags(dumps gas after 2 shots, repeatably). For $38 USD(preshipping), its IMO the cheapest reputable mag....good buy. |
