Vortex Strikefire
Anyone here own one? They seem like a decent middleground between cheap clones and the real aimpoints. The dot is 4moa so using it at 100 yards can be a bitch and they aren't as bright as real aimpoints.
Price is about $180 CAD plus shipping. Comes in two versions, one with a low mount, the other with a high mount, both are the same price. The StikeFire red dot riflescope lets you shoot with both eyes open! With unlimited field of view and eye relief – nothing gets you on target faster than this tough, shockproof and waterproof compact little red dot scope. The rugged StrikeFire red dot is perfect for hunting with shotguns, rifles, handguns, and compatible with Night Vision optics. Ideal for Turkey and brush hunting. The Sttrikefire AR-15 version comes with extra high mounting rings for AR-15 applications. Includes: Extra-high mount rings for the flat top AR (Ring height is 1.5625 inches from top of rail to center of optic providing lower 1/3 co-witness), Flip-up lens caps, Doubler, and Vortex Limited Lifetime Warranty Weight: approx. 7.2 oz. Dimensions: 6.1" long Features *Red or Green light option lets you switch colors and adjust dot intensity according to the surroundings and viewing conditions. *Unlimited eye relief allows for quick target acquisition. *Parallax free past 50 yards. *Optical 2x doubler provides for more detailed viewing. *Waterproof and fog proof with nitrogen purging for reliable work in harsh weather. *Shockproof with rugged one-piece 30mm aluminum alloy tube. *High recoil caliber rating – tested with .375 H&H Magnum for 1000 rounds. These RDS's were tested on a gun firing 1000 rounds of .357 so they can handle some tough shooting. |
