Hopup set up.
Ok let me first state this is for my primary field rifle ( 2010 CA M15a4 proline)
. i have kept this gun pretty much stock as far as fps goes ( 345 fps ) yes it is a bit higher ( stock was 330 fps) and that is due to a new classic army cylinder set with silent type piston head, shim job blah blah blah, other than that shes stock. I must say im quite impressed with the range im getting with it now. currently i replaced the stock CA steel hopup with a plastic G&G hop up unit....Here comes the shit storm , why would this "noob" replace his steel hopup chamber with a plastic one?. Simple the G&G hop up units get very little to no hop up creep. ( due to a O-ring behind one of the hop up adjustment gears and very little play between the gears ). There is also a systema rubber swapped in, which has helped quite a bit as the stock CA ones are crap unless your running higher fps. As i had stated before the set up works quite well but im looking for better range and tighter groupings so im looking to the Hopup unit, bucking, Rubber and barrel. The purchusing list is as follows: -Promy neo strike chamber -promy 6.03 SS TB (363mm length) -SCS/PCS Nub -Guarder clear rubber or promy soft rubber. (Shredder has recomended the Guarder Clear rubber as it forms a better concaved shape to the BB with the SCS Nub) Please dont suggest that i throw in a bigger spring as that is not going to happen i want this gun reliable, plus it has high speed gears in it and probaly couldnt handle much more than a M110 anyways . Does anyone forsee any problems with this set up? fitment etc ? Any help would be great. Thanks. -Ryan
