barrel allighnment problem
So I've been wanting to put a silencer on my M4 recently. So I got one from a friend (200mm lightweight) to go on my madbull diablo front set. Now I'm having barrel allignment issues. When I put a 363mm barrel in the gun, by the time it reaches the end of the silencer its about 1/4 inch up instead of being centered. I haven't tried firing it like this yet but can only assume the bbs would just ding off the inside of the silencer.
Does anyone know any quickfixes for whatever is going on with this? Any help would be truly appreciated! |

Either the inner barrel is bent or the threads on your silencer/outer barrel have went to shit.

Is your barrel in multiple parts? If so, the extra little weight of the silencer could make the barrel bend, as the inner barrel is most likely straight, these are usually harder to bend than multi section barrels.
Otherwise, as previously stated, misthreading could be an issue, if you try spinning the silencer 90 or 180 degrees, this should change the silencer's direction, and then you'll know it's threading. |
