RS type 56 is much much better.
Buyairsoft.ca sells full metal now? Damn, it would be nice for airsoft to legally be used by responsible people. But yesterday, I saw some kids, playing airsoft with crappy crossman guns on a playground that is usually populated with no goggles. Last edited by squeenix; May 11th, 2010 at 15:54.. |

I'm going to bump this thread with confirmation that RS AKs are made in mainland China.
http://www.popularairsoft.com/puttin...alism%E2%80%A6 This, combined with the fit, finishing, materials, packaging, and finish of this gun, is confirmation enough for me that there is definitely Norinco involvement in the manufacturing of these guns. |

Nothing to be confused about here. I have a 9.6V Intellect stick battery, and it can be inserted completely into the gas tube. You could very easily install a 10.8 or 12V as well with room to spare for more cells.
Personally, I would recommend a custom stick battery from cheapbatterypacks.com built using 2000 mAh 4/5A cells. That would turn this gun into a monster. The space in the stock is limited. You would have to get a custom pack, and I thing 9.6V with 4/5A cells would be as big as you could get it.. Quote:

If you got Realsword, just don't buy the damn under folding stock one. On our team, two people have had them break!

Where'd they break?
I've never heard of the stocks breaking. edit: I've heard of at least one wood stock developing a crack with minor use, and some wobble on the underfolder (minor and mods can improve it), but I haven't heard of any broken underfolder stocks. Last edited by Kid; June 22nd, 2010 at 12:02.. |

What is this huge difference between Buyairsoft selling to kids with confirmation from parents and a place like Mach1 selling to an adult so he can give it to his kid? It's like M-Rated games or something; If you need to be over 18, the parent will just buy it anyways as long as they approve of the kid having it. Maybe i'm just ignorant of the screening process at a place like Mach1, but there doesn't seem to be a difference between the two except one is more open about the fact kids will be able to use them. Also, to TS, I think the extra money is well worth it to get the Realsword. If it was like 850-900 compared to the 500, i'd say go G&G, but it's really not that much. But this is a really old thread and you've probably already purchased something so whatever ![]() |

I don't know how Mach1 screens, but retailers that choose to use the ASC AV are safer in that respect, since ASC has a policy of not allowing parents to be AV'd to buy for their kids. Not all AVers follow that policy, but for the most part it keeps the underage out.

l do plan on buying the full stock type 56 but I've never heard of their stocks breaking or cracking, and by the sounds of it the wood of these could almost compare you lee-enfield qualitiy wood.

Two of our guys (boot's guys are the same guys lol) have fallen on the folding stock ones and sheared the screw on the inside, it's an easy fix if you keep track of all the parts... which.. they probably did not
