Ghilliesuits.com Rifle Wrap
I recently ordered a Woodland camo orientated rifle wrap for my guns for when I hit the field at the regular place I play at, from Ghilliesuits.com which is out of Lilburn, GA and I arrived the package yesterday.
I haven't seen to much on this site about rifle wraps so I thought I'd post this here, along with some pictures of the wrap. I really like the colors included in this wrap and I think it will work pretty well on the field I play at, but only time will tell. So here it is....And one of the great things I like about this wrap, its designed to fit any size of gun, so it will be able to fit my CA M15A4, my MP-5 and my Sniper rifle...but anyway..Here is the sniper rifle and the wrap. you can have as much camo/ghillie as you want on that gun, but the orange tip will still give your position away... XD

Your rifle ghillie is too thick IMO. You will have a hard time working the bolt, getting a sight picture and crawling with it.
You should only ghillie the parts in front of the bolt and ejection port. The reste you leave only painted. It will be hidden by your body when you are crawling or shooting. Just a tip from a guy that tried it a lot. (o:

Here's what mine looks like when I have my whillie (EDIT: LMFAO, just noticed I typed "whillie" instead of ghillie, see what happens when I type in the morning before the coffee kicks in?) wrap put on: Mine is made from the seam part of a military mesh laundry bag, with clumps of jute, cadpat shreds, mesh bag, etc. tied in. And their faces.
NOTE: I even went as far as painting the inner surface of my scope's flip open covers. Attention to detail or what? (Except when it comes to spelling, check out my edit in my previous post.) Last edited by CDN_Stalker; May 6th, 2010 at 12:18.. |

Hehe, now that I look at the picture, it does look like I have my whillie wrapped (and painted).
