Camelbak Broken Hydrolink

I have an old camelbak that was issued at least 4 years ago and i was just using it on an FTX and i snapped the hydro-link inner part off from the inside and now is stuck inside the tube and i don't know how to get it out, I'm ordering a new part but i need some suggestions for getting it out. the part it self it to far inside the tube to pull it out and it appears to be threaded, i'm not a great problem solver so any help is appreciated.

It's alot like repairing a broken airline,or a broken water hose. Just cut the tube where the broken part is stuck inside and install the new one. Problem solved!

If you have a MEC or similar around your town, get there, they should be able to help you and might very well have the part too.

Mountain bike shops should have a "bite valve" replacement for you as well.

On a slightly side note. Anyone have a preference between the Source and the Camelbak bite valves?

I'm replacing an old Source mouthpiece where it was a pull out (like sport bottles) with a bite piece.

You may be able to run some compressed air and a bit of water in there to blow the old chunk out. It's barbed so it will be a battle.

Cutting the hose is the easy fix. Use a wet knife blade when you chop it.

Depending on how tough your hose is, you could try squeezing right after the barb, and try to push it out that way. One other thing you could try is get some plier-like device, and get it in, open it up once it's through and pull out.
