Im not sure why people are constantly telling you that you are wrong.

Its actually a really great idea, and I know exactly which kickboards your talking about. The cheapo ones at the Dollar Store (the one with the green signs).

Found the best thing to use for 1$....

You know in play rooms for kids they have those foam puzzle pieces on the floor... well use those. Easy to cut, flexes by it self and super super cheap. Got mine at Dollarama.

I thought you where talking about the ones that are stupidly hard lol.
So its pretty much the same rigidity as those that comes with the vests. The EVA ones. Right?

Can someone please explain to me why you need to put plates in the carriers for airsoft?

I put them for the realistic weight, rigidity and feel. Also when going prone, you mags don't go in your guts lol.

some plate-carriers like the wasatch don't really 'fit' as the creator intended unless you have a plate (or a surrogate plate) in them.

this can be due to the added rigidity or due to weight..

There are some guys who fill sand in the plastic plates, and guys who wear real plates. Not sure why the need for the heavy weight rigs.

That's why I run empty plastic one in the PACA, and then the kickboards in the MBSS for comfort and to fill the spaces.

Ever seen how ugly plate carriers and rigs that bend when you place them on the table without plates, for example CIRAS? LOL
