PGC (Pro-Win) AK HopUp chamber?
Anyone have experience using one of these? NOT i heard from this guy on another forum that they have a bad air seal with the hop up rubber (which is bull by the way!) etc etc. I mean people that actualy field a gun with one installed. I had just ordered one and currently waiting for it to come in and i would like to know how it performs. I have however read an article in AI magazine with one of there project guns that has one and it seems great.
My current set up is a 400+ fps tuned mech-box, laylax 6.03 tightbore, systema hopup rubber with a mad bull bucking (however I am toying around with the H-nub type buckings (The big out/echo1) and a few others as well.)

I use one in my gun. I picked mine up used for 15 bucks. The adjustment is realllly touchy. I currently use mine with a gaurder hard rubber and bucking. I am going to need to replace them tho. They are very nice unites, they are cnc machined. I think i am getting a good seal, im not sure tho. In your case, this unit will be great, The hnub in this unite is awesome. (a buddy of mine uses the hnub). I think when you install it, you will be very pleased with your performance? BTW, what is the brand of the gearbox shell,?

I don't like 'em. Fitment is really really picky in anything but a Tokyo Marui mechbox shell.
I prefer the King Arms one. |

I found mine was a pain in the ass to install. Had issues installing it into a G&P Metal kit (didnt align right apparently?) And the edges are very sharp. Cut up 3 Hop up rubbers just trying to install the damn thing.
I like that its C&C and all, but its giving me issues with the install. Maybe I just got a lemon?

As for the gear box shell, it is just a new gen JG v3, nothing special ... well the shell that is

If you thought that was good, try this;
KA hop-up chamber Prometheus 6.03 Barrel Guarder Clear hop-up rubber Shredder's concave spacer |

That sounds like a very consistant set up man. Whats the fps on the set up? What are the groupings like at 20 yards? (windless conditions).

I don't really have space to test 20 yards... I've got about 40 feet.. and at that distance the grouping problems were more shooter related than gun related |

Update. Just installed the prowin and i must say im very happy with it. As far as installation goes it was not to bad, a bit of filing and shoe horning and she fit right in. The current set up is as follows: prowin chamber, systema black hop rubber, white H-nub bucking and laylax 6.03mm x 407mm ss tightbore all mated to a 360fps gear box. One thing i noted on was the additional "range" it seemed to have when test firing the new set up (chalk it up to a more stable backspin applied to th BB). So all in all im very happy, plus having the gear box now mated to the hop up unit is a big plus IMO over the formentioned king arms unit.
