ICS L85A2 Problems!!!! HELP!!!!
I know you guys have a wealth of information and i need your help badly. My ICS L85 will cycle the motor and sound like its shooting but it will not feed BB's. I replaced the spring, piston and piston head. Is my nozzle length too long? Is there a short nozzle head and a long nozzle head? Thanks for your help guys anything will be greatly appreciated.

Did you try a different magazine?
If that don't work then good luck. |

Try this to find out if it is shooting
Take one BB hold the gun upside down and place bb in the loader tube (no mag) fire the gun (at a safe object like a blanket) if it shoots perhaps your mag is not making contact with the release |

Make sure the gun is completely devoid of all BBs.
Look into the BB feed path while firing the gun. Is the nozzle moving? If not, you either forgot to connect the tappet to the nozzle, forgot to reconnect the tappet spring or the tappet is broken.

L85
The L85 from ICS is an AWESOME gun
but a PAIN in the ARSE too... Parts are hard to get and not cheap if you can... Mach 1 carries parts for the ICS L85A2 if you need. so if the BB Shoots and it appears a new mag works... sometimes some mags just don't get the release button pressed properly by the gun. and thus no bb's get released. ex in my M4 with the new King Arms Metal Mags they slip a bit and thus the nub that releases the BB's does not get pushed. all I did was use some tape in the bottom inside of the meta casing and it pushed the black plastic internals up a bit and thus let the system connect it was more a mag problem then a gun problem other Mags work fine with no adjustments |
