Nope, you are wrong there Texas, the badge is a early federation badge painted green (originally with gold, orange and black colouring)
The Ushanka is still in Russian use and even though most are seen without a badge there are still plenty of examples with the Star badge (painted green or otherwise, with or without the wreath) please look at the following photos :

Just a quick question for those who've used the Partizan, Sumrak or Gorka-E suits....
-How comfortable are these suits to use in summer weather? I hear the Gorka-E gets pretty toasty in 20+ weather.. but what about the other two?

OH. also. both fit very loosely. If you want it more as a BDU, order a size smaller. Same height as your normal though.
