Thumb safety problem for SW 1911 PD
Hey guys,
I just got my SW 1911 PD 4 weeks ago, and now I found a problem: even I dont grip the thumb safety, I can still put the trigger. Normally it should block the trigger if I dont grip it. Can anybody help me with that? thanx~~! ![]() |

It's a common problem with Hicapa type pistols.

Remove the leaf spring and bend it back into shape, or get a new leaf spring. Look up how to take apart a 1911 on youtube for a proper idea of how to takedown the pistol.
