For the aftermath kraken, what size battery does it use? Would this fit it?: http://albertaairsoft.com/store/prod...id_product=124
Thanks. |

aka SNK or Shaniqua

That might fit but that's a nunchuck battery for a PEQ box. What you really want for a Kraken is a large battery similar in size to the POS nicad one it comes with
A smaller battery will rattle inside your stock. You'll want an 8.4v or 8.6v large battery (I can't remember if the Kraken has a large or small tamiya connector) since the Kraken has like an m110 or m120 spring in it.

I don't think it would be a good idea to run a stock kraken at anything over an 8.4.
On the bright side, it fits a large battery, so you can get mega mAh-age going on and not have to worry about batteries dying during a game. www.cheapbatterypacks.com is your friend. If possible, try to do a group order, it'll save you on shipping *edit* oh yeah, screw the stock connector and convert to deans |

What exactly do deans connectors do?
Are there any Canadian sites that have a large selection of batteries? |

Deans increase performance by allowing more juice through the connector, plus they aren't as fragile as those pos tamaya (sp?) connectors. Plus plus, you'll only have one kind of connector to worry about
I don't know of any Canadian sites that have a large selection of batteries. |

I have some 8.4v large batteries in stock, and I can change them to any connector you want. |

buy styrak's batteries. get him to wire it to deans and send you the other half of the connector set for you to use in your gun. problem solved. as long as you can work a soldering iron you're good.

And if you need more deans you can get them in hobby shops, or online hobby shops. They're not expensive.
