He's looking for the ones with the hardened knuckles, Not Mechanix. Thought Mechanix do kick some serious ass for the price.

You could also try Mark's... Lots of varieties of Dakota brand work gloves, black, or black and olive or black and sand...

Exactly what I use, the Dakota OD and black gloves, love em!

Side note, check out CP Gear, they recently added gloves to their line up, and recall seeing hard knuckle ones there too.

CP Gear doesn't have hard knuckle gloves. They got gloves with foam above the knuckles like the hatch operator gloves though.

Ah. Well, within his price range, and their being in country, is a good option to mention anyways. I'm likely to buy a pair of their new kevlar/nomex flight gloves shortly. Saw they just added them to their lineup of gloves.

Here are the foam knuckled ones you mentioned:

I don't like the colour they show, looks more blue than OD, likely the lighting or something.

I have these from Hatch.

More than you planned to spend but really comfortable. The do have hard knuckles and I find that with those very often I get a pressure point that after a few hours feels like someone shoving a nail into my hand. With the Hatch ones though the term `fits like a glove` applies.

I just picked up a pair of toughgrips from home depot, Planning on using them mostly for work but they will double nicely as airsoft gloves. They have knuckle protectors and *rough* stuff on the finger tips and on pressure points where you would pick something up.

Now the cool thing about these gloves is they have a breathable waterproof liner. Cool way to describe this is if you fill the liner with hot water you can see steam running out but no water escapes. Got them for 25 bucks. They are a bit warmer so more of a fall winter glove.

If you want something with hard knuckles that are comfortable hit up a bike shop. Should be able to get something in black with lots of protection yet flexible enough to ride/shoot with.
