Post your classics (56k hopefully)

Post pictures of your classic guns these are generally pre marui guns. Companies like mgc, asahi, shoie, sunproject, escort, jac, ftc etc. For the most part these guns run off external tanks.

I will start. This is my Maruzen kg9 most people have heard me talk about. Maruzen made two versions a gbb gas in the mag version and the bullet valve (bv) version that I own. (Missing from this photo are 5 more mags 3 sets of internals and the folding stock. Will update when they arrive)

Now for my new pride and joy that I will hopefully be able to morph into a C9A1. It was put on the scale with the box mag the other day and came in at 28 pounds. This is an Asahi M249 and considered to be one of the bog ones when it comes to classics. Not quite like a Asahi wa2000 but its up there in its rarity. This is also a bv gun. (Missing from this picture are 7 m16 mags and a few box mags which I am getting fabricated)

I know there are some of you out there so post them up

JAC/ASAHI M60 (no longer in my collection)
This one was a BV gun but ran slightly different then the other guns. It has an internal reservoir where the bb's are loaded and the cocking handle is pulled to load 30 rounds.

That AR18 is AWESOME!

I'm looking into maybe getting a FMU AMT Hardballer.

Can you say " Sarrah Connah? "

I associate it more with agent 47, but I'm from a different generation.

Update time with all the new shots.

A shot of the monster in its slow process of being converted to a C9

KG9 with the stock folded

KG9 with the stock extended

CAR 15 with stock at its shortest

CAR 15 with stock extended fully. There is one position in the middle of these.

The CAR 15 has a scs hopup like my KG9 does. This is an early form of hopup but works well because most classics would eat a normal hopup rubber. The CAR 15 has a nice slow rate of fire and a meaty sound. The scs gives it a bit of a kick which is kinda cool but no wear near a gbb.

MGC made some nice pistols some you can even still get parts for since I recall them using the WA systems at some point.

It's a very nice pistol to hold at least from a realistic veiwpoint vs. the ergonomic veiwpoint. The ergos are the Teutonic, "we are the engineers, we ask the questions and know the answers" style.

Firing is very similar to a Marushin Five-seveN feel, very snappy but not a lot of felt recoil. Accuracy is great.

My plan is to find a nice UZI and keep it in reserve for a day when we pull of a West German mid-80s OP.
