Quality of current CYMA CM.04** series

Hello all,

OK, so now I am hooked on AKs (and I know I am not the only one). There was a time when I could not appreciate how a single person could have so many guns. Now I understand... Unfortunately my wife does not, but that is another story.

I have been looking around the web and see that the CYMA CM.04** series are a VFC clone much like the Kalash/D-Boys. They boast a re-enforced gearbox and a high torque motor. For the life of me I cannot find a review of the CM.040D that addresses the metal content, particularly which parts are steel vs pot metal. I know my Kalash RK01S is all magnetic save for the trigger.

Like many other clones the CYMA brand has improved in the last 18 months.

Does anyone have experience with the newer generation of CYMA guns?

CYMA users, how have your AEGs stood up to the test of use and abuse?

If anyone has a CM.040D if you could slide a magnet over and report your findings here I would be most appreciative.

Thank you.

I don't think they are VFC Clones.

I've handled the O42 and O46.

Both are still Marui clones.

The 046 is still a Marui clone but utilizes the new blowback engine found in the Marui AK74M model.

They are both Marui Clones, DBoys/Kalash Clone VFC, and a Classic Army, they may do some other as well.

Well according to THIS as well as comments on other forums like the ones on this page it seems that some of the CYMA guns are now VFC clones.

At any rate I guess these haven't been brought into our fine country just yet...

Canada is slow for new developments, even slower for Chinese clones because of their previous reputation for horribly made guns.

New players are also more attracted to the Canadian legal products because they are alot cheaper and are being made by somewhat reputable manufacturers.
