NO Sniper rifle is an "alright noobie starter" not one of them ever

for sure man, for sure. I agree absolutely one hundred percent. I'm not into being competetively shot in the face, I just want to shoot coke cans and my friends legs so I don't wanna blow a grand on something that sits in my closet till I'm drunk. the vsr-10 clone is a fine rifle, and from buyairsoft.ca it comes with a scope and two mags. plus, if later on you decide you want to pay to be shot at, the upgrade options for the marui model are all compatible

Because stock airsoft sniper rifles have no advantage over an Electric gun... in most cases they've got an extreme disadvantage (fires 1 shot per second if you're good, where an electric can get out at least 10 per second

+ to get a good, reliable, accurate sniper rifle you're looking at sinking over 400-500 bucks worth of upgrades into it.

My VSR-10 is just over 3000 now... and I'm still not done tinkering with it.

I bought that clone a few weeks ago, at first it worked well but a week after the warranty was gone the piston sear and the trigger sear both broke andit cost me 96$ for new ones, this isnt a problem for me because i have a lot of money saved up for airsoft but if your short on cash and not willing to upgrade your gun its gonna be a waste of money

A sniper rifle is worthless against an m16 with a ROF of 21 bb sec.Trust me they run away.

Most seasoned players frown on newbies/unverified players buying from buyairsoft and shootsoft, that's all. Don't sweat it.

The sniper rifle is definetely not a gun for a new player, you will need to sink at least $500-$1000 into it in upgrades to get a decent gun. You should also check out the sniper rules of the local field or club you are going to play with to see what their minimum engagement distances or maximum FPS allowed for sniper rifles to be.
