Looking to make the most powerful KSC G26, HELP.....

well, i have been bored since i cant plink around with this thing, so i polished the barrel, i kinda like it

here it is compared to the G26C non polished.........

also, i ordered a new gun, if nothign more, to compare the inner workings to see what is wrong with mine. i fully disassembled mine, and cannot ffigure out what the issue it. i even cleaned EVERY part, and relubed the snot out of it with silicone, and no dice. so, i guess i will have to compare it side to side with a known working version.

well, i ordered a WHOLE NEW GUN which arived today, lets see if i can make all my mods work on it, and find out what is wrong with the previous one.

this is driving me NUTS!!!!

hey Mike

Would it be that you're not getting enough recoil power, hence the double feed and no semi auto action?
this could be due to the first spring you installed.
I also had this exact same behaviour when I tried to craft a hop-up rubber from a TM one, and I believe it's because a lot of gas was lost in the shot.

As I understand it, a stiffer hammer spring is going to have an influence on the valve opening duration, you're getting more gas out in the first fraction of second, when the hammer actually hits the valve button.
I could be completely wrong.

i actually just put in a factory (uncompany "enhanced" ) recoil spring, and no difference.

i also put in a Guarder enhanced hammer spring (which i have in my "good" gun, and still no difference.

hey, I just had same problem tonight with a long magazine from a g26c.
I fixed it by using the plastic outer barrel from the g26c instead of the metal one, it stopped doing that.

thanks for the tip, i am 100% sure it is in the firing mechanism. i am dumb, and bought a WHOLE NEW GUN, put my modded slide and mag in it, and viola! everything is fine. so it must be hammer/striker related.

once i find a free moment i will fix it. i have the other one for sale here......

finally got rid of the white trade marks that were making me hate the gun, since it looked unlike the real steel.........

now you just need a coat of dullcote on the slide to have the same finish as rs, and for your problems... could it be sear-related... i have a tm clone glock with the same symptoms and the cause is a worn hammer sear...

dullcoat? where does one get that??????? sounds lilke a good idea!!

as for the sear, it is BRAND new. i too thought it was that, so i replaced it, not happy gun yet

I did the same thing

it's the only way to have all the parts...

dullcoat or flat black: spray can in hobby stores or at Home De Pot.

be sure to wait 48h between two coats.
(if you don't it will wrinkle)
sand ( 600 to 1000 ) between each coat, not too much, just enough to smooth it a bit.

i did the dull coat, and didnt see your post about waiting

i am likely gonna sand it down a bit and redo, cause it looks like crap. the sides are perfect, but the top looks like wrinkly.

also, when prepping it for paint, i cleaned it, and it took the black crayon out of the letters!!! i hate the white letters!!!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!
