Do you think a guy could use the windowed version and stuff some fake rounds in there, mayber rob them from some G36 mags for example? Or is the spacing too tight?

Black non-windowed PMags sell for $30 on CGN right now. So, about $80 per mag at the most, this is with a real PMag and Systema mag guts.

You wouldn't be able to fit anything between the shell & internals...too snug. The PMag is designed with internal ribs that run from top to bottom. I like the window version myself but I can't justify NOT using it and paying an extra $4/USD per mag.

The window is very small and narrow. You might be able to get away with a picture of fake rounds printed out if you smoke the window?
