totally new to airsoft
hello everyone
i have been a paintball player for awhile but I do not like the fact that the guns are unrealistic and you have to wear so much protection. I am a teenager, so my money is not exactly "up there". I would prefer to get a gun in a few months if I start saving now (i have $120). i want a realistic looking gun, and I would probably like a metal one if it is recomended (either G&G or ICS). also, what would be some good atachments? finally, who should i buy from? i was told rangers airsoft? cheers, -galen |

You have no age poste in your profile so people are going to asume your under age and no one will sell you a gun then.

Hi,
There is a feast of info within this web arena and others, Might be a good idea to read up and see if you understand the differences between airsoft and paintball and some of the expenditures involved before spending all your allowance. Look for threads on gun disscusions for info on whats hot and whats not Enjoy!

I'll save Greylocks some typing since it looks like he quit his info job.

terribly sorry, i am 16 turning 17, when I filled out the form i filled the minimum requirments. Also, at my local field, the age is 14. I am just wondering about a good beginning gun that looks real and will hold up in the cold temperatures.
cheers, -galen |

I'm in the EXACT same age boat as you.
Wait 2 years and get one like I am, unless you get an incredibly low price offer you can't refuse like me. I'll be getting a UTG MP5 but i'm not going to use it due to Underage-ness. I'll upgrade it and stuff but it's not goign to be in commission for 2 years. Build your own mods, which i'm doing, NOTHING INTERNAL, and just go for it when your 18.Silencer and that's it, nothing big. Go to games, which i will be doign when the season rings in. Get to know people in your area. I know Nate and Bean, which are both incredibly nice. Most importantly WAIT. |

He said he was 16.. not 14.. he was just saying that his local field allows as young as 14 year olds to play with consent. Read before you post people. jeez.
