If you think that is expensive try going to a 10 am - 5 pm scenario at Wasaga beach paintball sometime. Try 30.00 to get in and 120.00 per case of paint which you can most certainly go through in just the morning. Now that is expensive...

sorry bud, but, I am just plain "poor", not looking for a free-bee or hand out, I simply can not afford it. alot of my people believe this to be a one day event, so, my bad, didn't mean to imply a super short. the price is a definite deterrent though.

It is expensive but the majority of the funds are going towards insurance and the land fees. Insurance is running into the thousands for this event and we won't even get started on the land fee's, not to mention the catering, staffing etc. . Hopefully you can find a way to get to the event with it being so far off and enjoy some of the intense action that is sure to be going on. As well as hang out with some of the folks here on the forum.

Try living in Sudbury. EVERY game is at least a three hour drive for us! lol

The Sunday game is only 3 hours?
Sounds interesting for sure. Im hoping to see the high price keep the player numbers down. Personally I find most big games just turn into a big shit show. Im trying to imagine 200+ players playing in the same buildings. Would like to see a player cap if there is any chance of that. What about hosting more games with smaller numbers.

This facility is so large that you won't be running into giant squads of people that's for sure. With the number of floors, buildings, rooms and outdoor area that will be in play this place could easily handle a 500 person game and make it just right with a well run scenario. Which Krusty and the Force Recon crew seem to have well in hand.
I hope to see some of the Sudbury crew down here as that is my hometown. Always wanted that big nickle...lol

I've already got several smaller, "produced" games on the go for next year. I hope to see good turn outs, of quality players to make these events worth putting on.

Quality over quantity any day.

Yes, that is sort of the idea. Although the big games can be very exciting, and the Border Wars series are some of the largest games in Ontario, that I have attended, I find the small to medium sized games to be "typically" the more engaging. And for some reason (may be my personal perception), the players tend to be more honourable.

I actually expect everyone to be tightly clustered in or around the buildings, completely neglecting the outdoor area. After all, this is the single best situated MOUT in our recent history. I'd imagine most people are playing $100 and change for the buildings, not the grass. But maybe that's just me.

My personal opinion is that the combination of the two (with focus on the buildings) would be an ideal situation. Imagine performing some recon from a distance to determine the best and least defended entry point to gain access to the facility and then fighting your way in? Good times.
Hopefully the vast majority can dig deep to find the funds to make it to what promises to be Canada's largest airsoft event. To the event organizers: Have you considered promoting this to Airsoft International magazine? They love this type of stuff!!
