Hey, that clone you were originally asking about isn't total crap.
Yeah maybe it is to a gun doc or a dude with more than a season of airsoft under his belt. It's definitely not the worst thing out there though. I had one for a wee bit myself. It worked fine. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...highlight=Zeta Anything M4 DPMS ish that can be found at Walmart or Canadian Tire is a toy however and not airsoft.

But is the first one that I linked a rebranded JG? what makes it worse than newer JG's? reliability I bet.
And as for the G&Gs and their cylinder issues, what would replacing the cylinder improve on? why is the stock one crap? |

Once that is replaced you'll have a consistent gun that'll shoot with a +/- of 5-8 FPS Consistency is a very good thing in airsoft |

Yes it's a rebranded JG with a stock JG mechbox and metal bushings.

Thanks to both of you.
I am assuming all G&G's stock armalite internals are identical, so the only difference between some guns is the fact that they are metal? I really can't figure out the difference between these two guns: http://buyairsoft.ca/catalog/product...roducts_id=471 http://buyairsoft.ca/catalog/product...roducts_id=473 It seems to me that the only differences are the fact that the first ones rails run the lenght of the upper reciever and continue onto the outer barrel, while the second one is seperacted via delta ring? and the fact the first one coems with vertical grip, but that isn't coherent regarding the gun itself. And sorry, I wasn't clear on my last post, I meant to ask if the first link i sent (the DPMD) was one like Amos was saying, and old crappier JG that got dumped on another company and rebranded. thanks for all your help guys |

The DPMS / Cybergun / Panther Arms / JG rebrand M4A1 is an older model JG. JG's 2009 AEG's are superior. No question. However to call it crap is a wee bit of an exaggeration.
Here's a link that might be of interest. http://www.canadianairgunsupply.com/ Correct me if I am wrong but I believe CAS have the monopoly / exclusive rights on G&G "smokeytintedreceiversoft" in Canada. Check it out. That being said, Classic Army make nice Armalites and are worth the extra cheddar. |

I just wonder if any body can guess the brand of DPMS M4A1 that I show off, I'm curious if any body can guess it right. There are none of my friends can guess the brand. Thanks.

lol, I was just on that site. I was thinking about the CQBR Rec or the M146 S, and was just wondering if they would both perform identically, because I find the 416 is slightly more astetically appealing

There's something to be said about that G&G M16 advanced. Not even $100 more and comes with some half decent upgrades including a tightbore barrel and a reinforced pitson.
Take off that carry handle and and add some Canadian style magazines for starters and you have one sexy AEG. Not too shabby actually for a starter AEG. |

what about the C.A.S. M16 with RIS? Or would that perform the exact same as the 416S?
I would really like something with rails and under $350. |
