It's been YEARS since something like this has popped up... countless times where people have promised a venue even remotely closed to this but never set anything in stone. I think it's safe to say that it's every Airsofters dream to play in an abandoned building without worrying about sand or paint on the wall. If the roof is accessible than we could have rooftop sniper positions (If the hospital is in a remote area). There is a shit ton of promise for this venue, and I sincerely congratulate you for just having the ability to have control over such a big venue. |

hospital
Thanks.... the roof would be out of the question though for insurance reasons let alone the safety factor. There are a few buildings in the area here that could be used for some airsoft events. There is another building I have been looking at that used to be an old furniture store which has 4 levels and is quite large as well. Then there is a 100 plus acres of woodland area to play in as well that I have that could be used for a game as well. I've never really had any troubles finding places to play lol.... I guess I am lucky that way.

Field
This is a sat photo of the wooded field I have that can also be used for a game. It is outlined in yellow... sorry but the pic got kind of cut off at the top when I zoomed in but you can get the jest of it.

cool. boarder wars with a CQB component would be awesome. I might have to score me a few tornado's to go along with all my 203 shells. Alas, no real estate in/on the vest or belt just yet.
Of course, ricochets from frags, 203's and tornado's would clearly need to be addressed as hits. |

Sorry but I'm from out west, who exactly is BlackRain? Do you really own one of Canadas largest paintball fields??? Holy crap man. You can count me in if the game is set in stone and a date is set early. (You seem like you know what you're doing and have sincere promises).
Even though you own a large field this seems like it would be a logistics nightmare to do a one man show. If you've made the effort to plan everything out I'm definitely in. I won't expect the game to be like clockwork (even if you plan it "perfectly" there's still going to be some snags) since this is the first year it's being run but to be part of this game would be awesome. I hope it gets better every year. You also mentioned the military using this building for training. So I'm guessing that there won't be any problem with the RCMP and ERT rolling up because of people in the area calling them. I might have to do a roadtrip this summer.

Krusty, or BlackRain, is there any game that is going to be sooner than the next Border Wars?
I'm thinking about Winter/Spring time... |

Hello All,
well Krusty has made the announcement and I will confirm it.... we have entered into an exclusive agreement together for this amazing field. While I can not confirm 100% yet that everything is a go I will say that it is looking really promising and looking to be the best border wars game yet! So start saving your pennies to come out and get ready for the most action packed milisim scenario ever held! Here is a little teaser as to how large this facility actually is..... from the Sat photo of the entire property. To answer another question that was put out there.... Yes I am the owner of one of Canada's largest outdoor fields and also became the first dedicated scenario paintball field in Canada. We ran several large scale scenario games at the field, 1 per month to be exact. So for those wondering... yes I do have experience with large scale scenario games as well as 24hr and night games. While my experience has been mostly in the paintball area Krusty's experience will make up for my lack in the airsoft arena and present you with a truly amazing field to play on.
