TM M4 Acting Strange In Need Of Help

Did you make any changes to the wiring? I did with my mp5sd and now I get the same issues. Tried changing springs, motors, batteries(8.4 and 9.6), gears, re-shimmed the gears, checked all of the contacts. Main thing that I could notice was the wires would get hot after pulling the trigger for a few seconds. Does this happen to you?

I did all that too, the only thing heating up that I noticed was I had my finger on the fuse and it was warming up after a few seconds of pulling the trigger but didn't test the wires themselves.

I'm getting pretty fed up with it, I was talking to m102404 and he is willing to do some gun smithing for me so I think I'm done with tinkering. So I think I might zip down to the GTA and drop off my guns and just pay the man and be done with it.

Try to reshim the gears. If the fuse is getting warm, probably the motor is having a hard time cranking the gears. Resulting to quick discharging of the battery and fuse get's warm.

I made sure everything was shimmed well (to my standards at least *shrugs), spaced well and turning cleanly by hand with no spring in, and just to be sure I put the mechbox casing together with no spring to see if it would turn easily then aswell which it did. Then put the spring and everything back in and... ehh, ehh, ehhhh....
