Two oddities that I've noticed:
1) "Remember me" might be set to a really short expiry time. I haven't had the site remember me between separate visits yet ![]() 2) I'm signed up for the TTAC3 game on the 22nd, however, I don't see it in my Events tab. Is this where the game should normally show up?

Been messing around a bit. Some ideas...targeted at the avg player:
- create a 'kit list' template that hosts can select...and then add to - email out that kit list to players a week prior to the event as a reminder/nudge to get their stuff together |

I'll find out what the timeout is on remember me - what browser are you using? My Events under My Ops-Center- legacy, that was Events you are hosting, need to remove that. There is a more comprehensive Event you are hosting/attending by choosing events on the left hand menu. |

We're going to start with reminding them that they signed up for an event.... ![]() |

Hmmm... it's interesting that we can use poorly worded rulesets from everyone else. Kinda makes it hard when adding an even to select your own rules.

I also agree there should be a separation between the crowd sourced stuff and your own personal rules sets. We will get on it today.

Why not allow the game op to create a rule set they can save. If they post multiple games it's likely they use the same rules.

OPS-Center AAR
I have now run 2 events using OPS-Center as the event management tool, ( rather than the ASC Forum)
As an early adopter I get to ride all the rapids .. and hit all the bumps. and there have been a few.. but really very few. I have found that OPS Center has simplified my life as a Game host, the hallmark of good software is , does it actually make a task easier and free up time for other things, and the answer to that with respect to OPS-Center is an unqualified YES. As a game host the largest aspect of managing an Event before the day is dissemination of the game details, the rules and the establishment of sides and factions.. then it is the daily management of a growing game thread as people post in , out, sideways and you have to plow through posts about all kinds of things to cull out the people who have indicated they are coming from the people who are just chatting about the game in the forum thread. With the direct link to OPS-Center from the Forum page people can see with one glance the main details regarding the game and then can click to go to OPS-center.. I don't have to waste time editing the first post of the game thread every day.. again another time saver. OPS-Center permits me to create the game, set the rules , provide a map to the field and it self manages the sides and factions, players post in , and out as they want and the list is automatically updated.. I intend to manage all my events through OPS-Center, because in a word it works and it saves me time. If you host games you have to get on OPS-Center, once you do.. you will wonder how you got on without it. I'm looking forward to more features and refinements on OPS-Center as more people adopt it.

I can see that working, each host being able to soft load in their rule sets, each game, and having it database'd. Give permission for your rules to be used by any host, or keep them solely to yourself, like ones that are field specific. The plan was always for the host to have to go through, and manually pick the rules that apply. I never liked the "choose-all" feature, as you will get a broad set of rules, that may not apply to your game. It will be worked on, and re organized for the better, very soon. Thanks guys, great feedback and ideas and keep them coming!
