It's all a part of Russia's effort to modernize its Army, give'em a more professional look.

It's definently not Russia's effort to modernize it's army. It's just a private company producing a camouflage.

The last thing Russia should want to do is try to mirror the look of a Western army. I like the new digital pattern, it looks good. (I'm not talking about this Surpat.)

beautiful appearance has not yet said what are you a professional.
Look at the Taliban in Afghanistan, the lack of equipment does not interfere with wage war

Hey guys, I'm ordering from http://www.soviet-propaganda.com/ind...products_id=19 and need help with sizing.

I am 6'3'' 185 lbs. I will use the charts if they are known to be accurate but any advice on the subject is appreciated.

EDIT: guess I'll just use the charts if no one has any extra advice.

Im 6'2", 250lbs... The charts work fine. I bought Gorka, and hats. The hats fit fine, and although I was afraid I'd get stupidly large pants in order to get a jacket that fits (almost all their camo comes as sets, instead of separates), everything fits just dandy.

How big is your chest? If you don't have a cloth measuring tape, take a piece of string/rope, go around your chest under your arm pits. Take the string, and align it with a measuring tape.

I'd guess that you'd be a size 6/52. Also, depends on what you're ordering. the over suits are bigger than the normal size, so I'd recommend going smaller on the chest size, as in getting a size 50, but stick with the 6 for height.

I was going to order a 50 but they didn't have what I needed.

The tentative order is 52-54-194. Kinda big, but I can always hemm the pants. I think it'll work out.

Heh.
That's the best impression I think I saw here.
Nothing fancy, nothing looks new or off the shelf and all is on it's place

Fancy? Ahem. Looks like he's got REAL armor there. Looks plated. The armor also looks unused.. :P.

But awesome Job Brandon. I'm once again kicking myself in the ass for selling my 6b3.

So guys...want to see my russian sniper suit + modern chest rig?

Augh man, all this gear is so nice but I fear I don't have much of an impression going on. At least my setup is true to Russian ideals: robust/simple/efficient.

Ah whatever. Cant all be perfect. At least you made the effort to represent the Russian side. Canada needs more "real" badguys to fight against. Muahahah.

Thanks for all the comments! The 6B5-19 is fully plated and in really good condition with minor rust. Only in the first photo can you really tell it's condition. I want a 6B3!

It's a dark photo but I don't think you'll mind too much.
