Sorry dude. Somehow I got the measurements confused when I read your post. I was certain that both your measurements were over 2". My bad. I need to read more carefully.

Yeah, those should fit fine then.

handguards

i have my src m16a3 on the way it has c8 markings and iam looking to get an olive drab load out, well my question is. do any of you have experience whether or not the actuall handguards, magwell grips, stocks, and grips will fit? thanx guys. and yes i will be age verified as soon as my baby arrives and i get to a game, no flaming please

So...you're wanting to turn your M16A3 into a C8...? Or a C7?

Que?

And what the hell does a magwell grip have to do with a C7/8?

Nate,

Unfortunately, none of those real parts will fit onto the airsoft SRC version. I have seen quite a few Airsoft M16 with OD furniture to pursue the Canadian look, they look excellent!

I've also heard a rumor that, for guns that can take RS handguards, the older C3 style handguards will allow the TRIAD to work the right way around, as soon as I can afford a set I plan to test it out.
