KA M4A1 GBBR - Maximaizing Recoil

Hi guys,

I have King Arms COLT M4A1 GBBR.

My question is what should i do to maximaize the recoil on this rifle?

Do I need hard spring or soft spring?

The Bolt carrier with loading muzzle weight is 230 gram. (without muzzle 188).
The Buffer weight is 81 gram.

First, In the near future I'm gonna buy th super recoil buffer from RA-TECH I think it's the best for hard recoil.

Seconde, I'm gonna buy ELEMENT Steel Bolt carrier.

What do you say guys?

Thank you and happy holiday. (passover).:)

That should do it.

Element is great for the price as far as externals go... but I'd stick with RA-Tech and similar higher brands for anything internal.

Beside using that consider...

Real Steel Buffer
Real steel Recoil Spring (you might have to shorten a bit to reduce the tension)
Put spacer so the gun is very close to not locking back.

Even better.

Just note what I said above will dramatic increase the wear of the internal.

+ cooldown... but if you dont shoot in full auto you should be fine....

Thank you guys for your comments.
RA-TECH Is to expensive for me. Steel Bolt carier cost 140 USD. ELEMENT's cost 64 USD.
I never shoot on Auto mode its useless.
About the spacer I already got one so it very close to not catch the bolt. I think if i will change the spacer from sponge to metal the absorption will be less - more felt recoil.
Changing to real spring will cause to damage and failures in the blowback system. It's just too strong and if you shorting it the base will be unsimetric.

I suggest reading on the GasGun Info forum... there's lots of GBB experts from around the world on there.... and most of them ahve tried every single chinese parts and reviewed them on there!

Thank you very much.

If only using a a heavier buffer (5 oz) would there still be dramatic wear to the internals?

ofirn2008 April 29th, 2011 05:05

I just finished making my new buffer.
Previous weight was 80 gram.
Currently weight 200 gram.

The recoil is now very hard and the kick is amaizing.

I made the buffer from old flash hider of AK-47 SPETSNAZ, also I took the weight from the old buffer.

I was suprised how well the new buffer sits in the tube.
