It's mainly a problem with the Hicapa because it's meant to have a metal midframe. Other pistols can have plastic lower receivers, but there's always metal reinforcing inside, like the rails the slide travels on.
The WE plastic midframe was/is just a really stupid idea.

well i'd like to thank all of you very much, funny how my dad handed me his credit card and i was clicks away to getting the hi-capa when i decided to make a visit on the forums. you guys saved wallet from being lighter hahah. anywas i was looking over on buyairsoft and they have the kjw mkI, before i never really wanted it because well it had no blowback and it was just not apealing to me, however looking it over again it sudenly became extremely sexy, (and affordable without a sale). so i was just wondering whats the quality of the mkI and is it better than the We's hi-capa's?

Stupid idea, alright. Below a certain amount of stress, the life of a component will be infinite. Without changing the dimensions and moving towards a lighter, softer, material, the life expectancy will become, much, much lower.

OP, I have a feeling you're not 18. Wait until you're 18, buy something proper that you want, not because it's what you can get. I can assure you it will pay off in the long run. If you're over 18... just get AV'ed, damn it.
